We are in-network with Aetna and United Healthcare! Through our partnership with The Lactation Network, lactation consultations may be covered in full if you have BCBS PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, Cigna PPO, VA CCN, and most plans that utilize PNOA and Multiplan. For clients with other insurance coverage, we will provide a superbill to submit for reimbursement and offer office visits in Arlington Heights at a reduced rate.
Experience and Professionalism
Kelly Sijapati has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2015. She provides exceptional breastfeeding care and has successfully helped many families establish and maintain breastfeeding relationships through one-on-one consultations, support groups, and educational classes.
She partners with pediatricians, nurses, midwives, doulas, and other health care professionals. She has experience working in pediatrician offices, an outpatient lactation clinic, and serving the community as a volunteer La Leche League Leader. She also contributed as a content expert for a lactation textbook published in 2020 (Breastfeeding Answers: A Guide for Helping Families, by Nancy Mohrbacher, IBCLC). Her favorite part of lactation work is helping parents grow in confidence in their new role.
Kelly understands the importance of educating you on the most effective ways to manage breastfeeding, so that you can reach your feeding goals quickly. Kelly is supportive of all feeding plans, and her consults are a judgment-free zone. She is mother to 2 wonderful children and understands how difficult this time of life can be.
